Port of Phuket is location on the western
seaboard of Thailand on the Andamans Sea at 07 � � 49' .0 N. 98 � � 24'
.30"E. It stands at Makham Bay which is on the eastern coast of Phuket Island.

Access for vessels entering or leaving the Port is via a 120 m. wide chanel dredged to 9.0 m., with 1.5 km. in length. There is a 360 m. turning basin at the north of the quay. The Tidal range at spring tide is 2.7 m. |
